QuestionsCategory: WP Smart TVRoku can’t see feed

This is the message I get when Roku tests me feed generated by WP Smart TV:

The server could not be contacted – the call timed out.

We are using the plugin from the WP staging engine, could that be the issue?

Hey Carl,

It should work from the staging site though I’m not 100% sure. If you can send me your link to your feed, I can test it out and let you know.

It looks like staging block Roku’s ingestion system. Generally we find WP Engine is willing to go “above and beyond” to help customers so you could try contacting support and see if they can give you more information.

I’m going to do some more experimentation tonight on some of our channels and see if I can find a solution for you 🙂
